Ronit Roy

You might be surprised after knowing that Ronit Roy first appeared on the big screen, but unfortunately, all of them came out to be flops. Then he eventually paved his way through soaps on Indian TV and it worked.

Now, Ronit Roy is praised and loved by Indians as the Amitabh Bachchan of 70 mm screen and for good reason. He is best known for his character in Kasautii Zindagi Kay as Rishabh Bajaj and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Mihir Virani. Since then, he is working on a small screen as well as on the big screen. His personality on screen is accentuated by his off-screen personality.

Ronit earns Rs. 1. 25 lakhs per episode and works only 15 days a month.

Sakshi Tanwar

Ekta Kapoor’s darling, Sakshi has been around since a long time. Not many people are aware of it, but she began her career as an anchor on Doordarshan and later she entered every household as “ideal bahu.”  Parvati Aggarwal in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki won the hearts of people for 8 years.

Recently, she’s been appreciated for playing the role of Aamir Khan’s wife in the movie Dangal.

Ram Kapoor

Undoubtedly, Ram Kapoor is one of the most influential actors of Indian television. Success wasn’t easy for him, he has worked hard to get to this position. In one of his interviews, he revealed that he survived on his wife’s income for about two years.

His roles have been diverse from playing the father of a teenage son in Meri Dad ki Maruti to a romantic business man in Bade Ache Lagte hain. He also broke many barriers in Indian television by being the first person to lock lips with his co-star Sakshi Tanwar.

He gets a mighty Rs. 1. 25 Lakh per episode.


Divyanka Tripathi

Before Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, she has acted in roughly 14 serials but she was never able to get this much love from her audience as much she has got from this show. She is playing a role of Dr. Ishita. People are die hard fan of her now!

She started her career as an anchor on Akash Vani in Bhopal. Also, she has won Miss Bhopal in 2005. Not only this, Divyanka has also won many awards such as the Best Actress award at the Indian Television Academy Awards and shares the Most Popular On-Screen Couple title with her on-screen husband.

Presently, she earns somewhere between Rs. 80,000 to 1 lakh for one episode.
