Sarahah: A dream app for haters and secret admirers!

By on August 19, 2017

You must be living under a rock if you are still not aware of this app that has gone viral and has become the most popular free download from the iOS App Store, and the second most popular free app on Google Play. Those who are still clueless about it, Sarahah means ‘honesty’ in Arabic and this application helps you get an honest feedback from people. How do you know they’re honest? Because the comments are submitted anonymously.

With this interesting app, an interesting breed of users has also been born. You can find them bombarding your timeline with Sarahah updates these days. Here is how we see them:

The addicts

They have self obsession disorder. No matter what message they get, they make it a point to post it on their timeline. Attention seeking is their sole purpose to be on Social Media and Sarahah is turning out to be a self esteem machine for them. Users in this category strongly identify with the statement: “The more ‘like’ notification alarms I receive, the more I feel approved by my peers.”

You look beautiful …POST!

You are useless …POST!

Seriously guys, nobody is interested in knowing who hates or loves you…RELAX and please stop spamming our timeline for God’s sake.

Asking for it

So these ones are wanna be “The addicts”.  They are repeatedly posting their Sarahah profile link on all the Social Media Channels hoping to get messages from their secret admirers.

s2 (1)Well, we all need little love dose. Don’t we? ;)

The Hypocrites

They are the people who pretend to get sick of this whole Sarahah thing but still create their account and post its link with captions like ‘ Stupid App’ ‘WTF is this’ ‘Hate this app” etc.

Seriously guys, nobody forced you on gunpoint to create your account there.  And it just makes you look pseudo-intellectual.

So under which category do you fall? Comment below and let us know! ;)
