Hola  chicas!

You know how much we love splurging on new products and then sharing our experiences with you, so that when the next time you hit the market you know exactly what to buy and why!

So, when we got these amazing products from www.luxola.com, we just couldn’t resist ourselves from doing a review + a makeover post!

Whilst we review the products, we’re going to show you how to get that million dollar party look without burning a hole in your pocket. And to your surprise, all we have used is every day products that you usually have in your makeup bag.

The products we have used and reviewed are:

1. OLAY – White Radiance Festive Pack

2. OLAY – CC Cream – White Radiance CC Cream Moisturizer with Sunscreen SPF 15 in Light

3. MAYBELLINE – Lip Polish Glam 15 9ml

4. MAYBELLINE – Big Eye Mascara

Olay White Radiance CelLucent Serum Essence + White Radiance CelLucent White Cream

Used together both products act as an Intensive treatment that tackles surface and hidden whitening issues; for luminous fairness. The product claims to fade appearance of dark spots too if used consistently for long term.

For better: Super-creamy texture, gives an intense hydration to skin.

People with normal to dry skin will love it.

For worse:

The product needs to be used in moderation.

A little more than enough amount used doesn’t absorb into the skin. It’s feels like the product is sitting on the surface.

Olay White Radiance CC Cream –

This is our fav out of the two Olay products that we’ve used in the video.

For better:
This all-in-one triple stream formula combines a daily anti-aging moisturizer, SPF 15 sunscreen and sheer tint for younger-looking skin.
Instantly covered all the flaws of skin and gave a fresh and dewy look to it.
Lovely packaging

For worse:
Didn’t give the skin tone a much required fairness boost.
Doesn’t act like a makeup base. You will need to use a translucent powder after the product.

Maybelline – Big Eye Mascara –

Defining our eye lashes to get that bold eye look became all the more easier with this one…

For better:
Sets really fast on lashes and gives them a boost of volume and length.
It really is water-proof.

For worse:
Very difficult to take off.
You might lose 5-6 lashes in an attempt to wash it off. :P

Maybelline Lip Polish  –

We’ve used Glam 15. It’s a lovely nude color. Set well with our look and is perfect for day or night use.

For better:
Silky, cushiony feel.
Nourishes chapped lips instantly.

For worse:
A little sticky
